Artist in Residence

Visiting artists share technical skills and work with youth for up to 10 weeks to foster lasting skills and techniques development for young people to pursue

independently. This initiative will build on curricular innovations developed by

accomplished young artists featured at Stomping Grounds Open Stage events who have demonstrated skill in inspiring other young people to take new creative risks. This year, the youth received four workshops from recording artists Substantial, activist and musician Damon Williams
